AI living room design from your photo
remyhomeai takes a photo of your living room and redesigns the furniture, textiles and colour in that same photo. The sofa, rug, coffee table and TV wall change. The walls, windows, doors and camera angle stay where they are, so the result still reads as your room.
Pick a style, pick a palette and tick what to lock. The design runs in the background and lands in your history after 30 seconds to 3 minutes. The free plan gives you 3 designs a month, no card required.

Drag to compare. One living room photo, restyled in Scandinavian with remyhomeai's AI model.
What changes and what stays
Seating is the first thing the model rewrites. A sagging three-seater becomes a sofa that fits the style you chose. Armchairs, side tables, lamps and cushions follow. The rug changes size and pattern, which is how a redesign zones the seating area away from a walkway or a dining corner.
The TV wall is a special case. The screen usually stays as a screen, but the unit under it, the shelving around it and the wall colour behind it all change. If you want the exact media unit you own, name it in the keep field.
Architecture does not move. The bay window stays a bay window. The chimney breast keeps its depth. Ceiling height and the position of the door are fixed by the photo, so the proportions of the new room are the proportions of the real one.
Which styles suit a living room
Scandinavian is the safest pick for most living rooms, and it is the style in the before and after pair on this page. Pale wood, a low sofa and a wool rug read well in rooms with ordinary ceiling heights and one window.
Contemporary suits a living room with a large sofa and an open plan. Curved seating and layered lamps fill a wide frame without looking sparse. Traditional works when the room already has a fireplace, cornicing or a picture rail, because the style leans on those features instead of fighting them.
Industrial is a stretch in a small living room. The dark palette and hard surfaces shrink the space in the render, as they would in real life. Try it on a photo taken toward the window so the daylight carries the scheme.
What to lock before you run it
Lock the floor if you have real wood or a tiled floor that you do not plan to replace. An unlocked floor is the single biggest reason a living room render looks like a different flat.
Lock windows and doors in almost every case. Tick walls if you have just painted or if you rent and cannot paint. Name the fireplace, a built-in bookcase or a radiator cover in the keep field if you want them in the result.
Leave the ceiling unlocked if you want to see new lighting. Pendants, track lights and a floor lamp are where the model adds the most mood for the least cost in the real world.
How to photograph a living room for a good result
Stand in the doorway or in the corner opposite the main window. Hold the phone at chest height, level, and get the sofa, the rug and the TV wall in one frame. The model redesigns what it can see, so a frame that cuts the sofa in half gives you half a sofa.
Shoot in the day with the overhead lights off. Daylight from the side shows texture on the rug and fabric, and the model keeps that light direction. Avoid shooting straight into the window; the room goes dark and the window burns out.
Clear the coffee table and the floor. Clutter is not a problem for the model, but anything left on the table tends to come back as some other object in the same place.
Problems a redesign can and cannot show you
It can show you whether a lighter rug widens the room, whether a sofa in a different colour calms the TV wall, and whether a style you like survives contact with your window shape and ceiling height. That is the decision most people need help with.
It cannot show you a knocked-through wall, a moved radiator or a different window. It does not take measurements, so the sofa in the render might be a size that does not fit through your door. It does not know which products are in stock, and there are no shopping links for the furniture shown.
Treat the result as a direction, not a plan. Take it to a shop or a decorator and ask for pieces that match it.
Living room questions
Will the TV stay on the same wall?
Yes. The photo fixes where the screen is. The unit under it and the wall colour behind it change unless you name them in the keep field.
Can I keep my sofa?
Name it in the keep field. The model tries to preserve items you name, but a sofa is the main thing a living room redesign changes, so expect the result to vary around it.
Does it work on an open-plan living and dining space?
Yes, but choose one room type. Pick living room if the sofa fills most of the frame. The dining end gets restyled in the same scheme.
Can I rearrange the furniture?
No. remyhomeai restyles the room in the photo. It does not move furniture to a floor plan or produce a floor plan.
