AI dining room design from your photo
remyhomeai takes a photo of your dining room and returns the same room with a new table, chairs, pendant light, rug and wall treatment. The window and door positions stay, so the table lands in the same spot and the route around it stays clear.
The table is the anchor and the pendant above it is the second decision. Choose a style and a palette, lock what you want to keep, and allow 30 seconds to 3 minutes per design while it runs in the background.

Drag to compare. One dining room photo, restyled in Traditional with remyhomeai's AI model.
What changes and what stays
The table and chairs change first. A glass table with mismatched chairs can come back as an oak table with upholstered chairs, in the same place and at a similar size. The model keeps the table where the photo shows it; it does not slide it toward a wall or spin it.
The pendant over the table changes with the style, and so does its apparent height. A single bare bulb often returns as a pendant at a height that clears heads but lights the table. If you have a fixed ceiling rose, lock the ceiling so the light stays on the same point.
The rug under the table changes size and pattern. A rug that is too small in the photo tends to come back large enough for chairs to sit on it when pulled out, which is the usual mistake in real dining rooms.
Sideboards, art and curtains get restyled. Walls, windows and doors change colour and dressing unless locked, but their positions do not move.
Which styles suit a dining room
Traditional is the style in this page's before and after pair. A dining room is the one room where symmetry, panelling, a pedestal table and a chandelier look right rather than formal, and the style suits a room with a fireplace or a sash window.
Modern suits an open-plan dining area next to a kitchen: a slab table, a sculptural pendant and chairs without arms keep the view through. Scandinavian is the easiest fit for a small dining room, with a light wood table and spindle chairs that do not block the window.
Eclectic works when you already have one piece you love. Name it in the keep field and let the model build pattern and colour around it. Industrial needs a big room or a high ceiling, because a dark metal pendant and a heavy table shrink a small one.
What to lock before you run it
Lock the floor if the dining room shares flooring with a hallway or a kitchen. A floor that changes in one room and not the next is a render that cannot be built.
Lock windows to keep your curtain pole and the view. Lock walls if you have panelling or wallpaper you like and want to see furniture against it. Lock the ceiling if the cornice and the ceiling rose are staying.
Name a sideboard, a dresser or the fireplace in the keep field. If you have just bought a table and want to see chairs and lighting around it, name the table too.
How to photograph a dining room for a good result
Stand at the end of the room opposite the main window, or in the doorway, and get the whole table, the pendant and the floor around the chairs in one frame. The rug decision needs the floor around the table visible.
Push the chairs in and clear the table. A table covered in post and laptops gets a different set of clutter in the render. A bare table shows the model the shape to work with.
Shoot in daylight with the pendant on. A lit pendant tells the model where the light hangs and keeps the new one on the same spot. Do not use a wide-angle or 0.5x setting; it bends the table and the render inherits the bend.
Problems a redesign can and cannot show you
It can show you whether a round table suits a square room, whether a large rug makes a narrow dining room feel wider, and whether a dark wall behind a sideboard adds depth or gloom. Table scale against the window is the decision most people cannot picture from a shop.
It cannot tell you whether six chairs fit with the door open, because it does not measure. It cannot move the ceiling rose, open the room to the kitchen or add a serving hatch. The pendant height in the render is a visual guess, not a specification.
It does not link to the table or the chairs. Use the render to agree a look, then measure the room before you order anything.
Dining room questions
Will the table stay in the same place?
Yes. The render keeps the table where your photo shows it. Its shape, material and the chairs around it change.
Can I keep my dining table and only change the rest?
Name the table in the keep field. The model then restyles the chairs, pendant, rug and walls around it.
Does it know the right pendant height?
No. It places a pendant that looks right in the image. Check the height against the table in the real room before you fit one.
Can it open the dining room into the kitchen?
No. Walls stay where they are. remyhomeai restyles the room; it does not change the structure.
