At remyhomeai, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered interior design service.

Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Give Us

• Your name, email address and password when you create an account. We store the password only as a secure hash.
• Messages you send to us.
• Payment details go to our payment provider, Stripe. When you start a checkout, we send Stripe your email address. We store the customer and payment IDs Stripe gives us, the credit pack you bought, the payment status and the amount. We do not receive your card number.

Images and Content

When you use our Service, we collect:

• Room photos you upload for redesign
• Design preferences and style selections
• AI-generated designs created from your uploads

How You Found Us

When you visit remyhomeai.com or app.remyhomeai.com, our own code stores a cookie namedrh_attr. It is shared between the two sites and lasts 90 days after your last visit. It contains:

• Campaign parameters in the link you followed, such as utm_source and utm_campaign, and a referral code
• The hostname of the site that sent you, such as pinterest.com. Not the full address of the page.
• The first page you landed on, and when
• Ad click identifiers that ad platforms add to links, such as gclid or fbclid
• How many visits and pages you viewed, and the last page path
• The last button on remyhomeai.com you clicked to open the app, and the page it was on

When you create an account, we save the contents of this cookie with your account. If Meta advertising cookies (_fbp, _fbc) exist for our site, we save them too. We do not load Meta's pixel, so normally they do not exist.

Information Collected When You Sign Up

• Your country
• Your device type, operating system and browser

We use your IP address to determine your country. We do not store the IP address on your account. The device details come from the information your browser sends with each request.

How You Use the Service

We record when you first reach each step of the Service: uploading a photo, starting a design, receiving a design, picking a variation, downloading, reaching the free limit, starting a checkout and paying. We use this to see where people get stuck.

Analytics Services

• Google Analytics: runs on remyhomeai.com and app.remyhomeai.com. It sets cookies and receives the pages you view, the site that referred you, and your browser, device and approximate location. It treats the two sites as one visit. We do not send it your name, email address or account ID.
• Purchases in Google Analytics: when you start a checkout, the app reads the values of the Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) and sends them with the checkout to Stripe. Stripe returns them to us with the payment. Our server then reports the purchase to Google Analytics with those values, so it counts toward the same visit. It sends the credit pack, the amount and the payment ID. It does not send your name, email address or account ID.
• Microsoft Clarity: runs on remyhomeai.com and app.remyhomeai.com. It records session replays and heatmaps: how the page looks, where you move, click and scroll. Room photos, designs and the text you type are masked, so Clarity does not receive them. In the app, we send Clarity your internal account ID so the replays of one account can be grouped. We never send it your email address.
• Vercel Web Analytics: counts page views without cookies. It does not identify you.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain our Service
• Process your room redesign requests using AI technology
• Process payments and manage your credits
• Send you service-related communications
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Improve and optimize our Service and AI models
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Image Processing and AI

When you upload images to our Service:

• Images are processed by our AI systems to generate redesign suggestions
• We do not use your personal images to train our AI models without explicit consent
• Uploaded images are stored securely and can be deleted upon request
• We may retain anonymized, non-identifiable data for service improvement

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We work with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Service, including cloud hosting, payment processing, and analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use these cookies and browser storage:

• rh_attr cookie: records how you found us, as described in section 2. Set by us, shared between remyhomeai.com and app.remyhomeai.com, kept for 90 days after your last visit.
• Visit counter: the time of your last page view, kept in the browser's session storage to count visits. It is deleted when you close the tab.
• Sign-in: the app keeps your sign-in token in the browser's local storage. The app needs it to keep you signed in.
• Theme: your light or dark mode choice, kept in the browser's local storage.
• Google Analytics cookies: _ga and _ga_*, set by Google, kept for up to 2 years. Their values are also passed through checkout, as described in section 2.
• Microsoft Clarity cookies: _clck, kept for up to 1 year, and_clsk, kept for 1 day. Set by Microsoft, they link the pages of one visit and your visits over time.

Vercel Web Analytics uses no cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking rh_attr, the Google Analytics cookies or the Clarity cookies does not affect how the Service works. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google'sbrowser add-on.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
